Honouring Our Mothers

On Sunday we took time to honour our biological mums, adoptive mums, step mums, foster mums, people that feel like mums, and those who act as spiritual mothers. Relationships can often be complicated and it some find Mother's Day particularly hard to celebrate. It was so encouraging on Sunday to hear personal stories from our church family when people have found ways to take their personal hurt and grief and use it as inspiration to walk alongside others facing similar pain. Even honouring our parents for the smallest things can go a long way towards practicing forgiveness and finding healing. How could you honour those who have mothered you today?
