During Lockdown
Our Life Groups are finding new ways of meeting during lockdown. To join a group please get in touch.
What are Life Groups? Our Life Groups are little communities of around 6-12 people who meet during the week in and beyond around Bath, whether that's in homes, pubs or cafes.
Each group has its own unique personality, but whatever shape they take, Life Groups help us to build lasting relationships through worship, prayer, caring for one another, studying Scripture and socialising.
Life Groups offer a sense of belonging, and are a great way to relate more deeply with God and with one another.
|
Can I Join a Life Group?Doors are wide open to newcomers or those who just want to ‘taste and see.’ Life Groups can often be a helpful way to feel at home at St Swithin's and you are most welcome whether you feel you have a strong faith, are wrestling with faith, or are simply curious.

Students & Young AdultsOur student and young adult community is just starting out. We are looking to build a community where everyone is loved and welcome, where everyone is supported, encouraged and challenged, where everyone has the opportunity to share and contribute, where we are being creative and brave in the way we express community, where we are there not just for ourselves, but to bless and serve each other.
|
Fun ClubFun Club is a thriving community for the over 60s with a rich program. We meet for friendship to go along with the food and the fun on the first Monday of the month at 2pm. There is something different each month, followed by the constantly reliable finale of tea and chat, except for when we have lunches for special occasions.
|
'Oasis' for WomenOasis is a great chance for women to socialise and to get to know one another through socials and events like skittles or pottery. It's a place to grow in faith and friendship alongside other women between the ages of 18 and 118.
|
'Waterhole' for MenThe men have their time at the ‘Waterhole’ when they meet to enjoy an eclectic range of events: bowling, go-karting, grounds-work, a weekend away at Lee Abbey, a walk and pub stop, golf and tennis.
Friends and new members are always welcome.
