Exploring FaithSt Andrew’s Church School is a Church of England school and is part of the Bath and Wells Multi-Academy Trust.
The school prides itself in providing an education for the whole child within a Christian environment. The school aims to foster a love of learning that will sustain children throughout their lives and enable them to appreciate ‘life in all its fullness’.
At St Andrew's Church School there are opportunities for children and their families to explore the truths of the Christian faith, to develop spiritually and morally, and to have a basis for choice about Christian commitment.
At the same time, the school’s commitment to inclusion as a core value means that it is a place where the beliefs and practices of other faiths are also respected.

Good LinksSt Swithin’s links with the school are expressed in a number of ways.
We seek to support the school, help it thrive and to build on it's Christian roots through relationships. Foundation Governors help the school to build a Christian ethos into its policy and curriculum. We have a great relationship with the staff team and many members of the church are involved in school life in different capacities.
Assemblies are delivered by a diverse team based on Christian values and themes. Our hope is that children will be knowledgeable in stories of the bible and connect them to life today.
Each term the children and parents are welcomed into the church for a service, usually at a major festival or when students are leaving to go onto secondary school. God is seen to be a part of these significant events in people’s lives.
