Here's the latest update from Tim... Dear St Swithin's friends, "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much" - Luke 16. 10 Most of us dream of making a difference in our lives, sometimes those dreams are big, dramatic and ambitious. We’re in a season with COVID where our horizons have been reduced, our movement is restricted, and our choices have been massively reduced and it would be easy to think that there is no purpose for us. However, that’s absolutely not how God sees things. Our lives and our church are built on the small things. God uses little things to test our integrity. What is integrity all about? — it’s in the things that nobody sees, in the stuff behind the scenes, and in the small, unseen, unspectacular choices of life where you do the right thing even though nobody’s ever going to see it. That’s one of the great opportunities of this season. With Boris’s announcement this week, there is now a roadmap over the next few months for us as a country, but we’re still waiting for detailed guidance from the national church. In practice it is likely we will continue the pattern of a small Sunday gathering and livestreaming options on the internet leading up to Easter. But we’ll let you know of any changes in due course. Please continue to engage and connect, it’s such an encouragement to others. In the meantime, thank you so much for your encouragements, prayers and support and as we continue to pray for you………‘Keep Going’ Find the latest ‘Connected’ News sheet at the top of our news page.
