Ash Wednesday Service 26th February at 7:30pm "All go to one place. All are from the dust, and to dust all return." - Ecclesiastes 3:20 Join us down at Bath Abbey on Shrove Tuesday as we gather with Christians from across the city to Pray for Bath. We are delighted to say that we are opening our cafe again from the 25th February. We’ll be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30am to 2:30pm. It’s back and this time there’s pancakes! Calling all students and young adults. Come join us on Monday night for hot drinks, pancakes, games and a chance to hang out. We want to thank everyone who contributed to cake and/or money on Sunday 23rd February 2020. We raised £318 to go towards 'One Good Friday.' One Good Friday, the passion play set to take place in Bath this April is looking for ways to fundraise for this amazing event. We invite you to prayerfully consider giving a one off donation. On Sunday 23rd February 2020 we will be having a collection and a Bake Sale. If you would like to contribute a cake, please let us know. We will be holding an Extraordinary Church Meeting after the morning service on Sunday 23rd February to elect a second church warden.
Our café is closed this week (week beginning 17/02/2020). We hope to be open next week. We'll update you as soon as we can. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Below is a list of various books that some of us have found helpful when it comes to grappling with healing - whether that's physical, spiritual, emotional, relational, vocational, behavioural or something else altogether. Some of the books are heavy going. Not every book will be to everyone's taste. But if you are someone who is in need of restoration in some way, taking time to read, think, pray and maybe even wrestle with what God might be doing and saying is a great place to start. Take a look, find a book and do ask if you would like some help in choosing or would like to talk to someone about healing.
A beautiful, candlelit service where we will explore how Christ transforms our darkness through beautiful music, prayer and scripture. Refreshments will be served from 6pm for a service from 6:30 - 7:30pm. Join us for Joe's Jolly Lunch on Sunday 2nd February after the morning service. Tickets are available from the café. Adults £5, Under 12s, £2.50. There have been some significant changes for some of our prayer partners in 2019. Hear the story on Sunday during the morning service and over lunch afterwards |
