Here's Tim sharing from Galatians 5 as we spent a Sunday celebrating freedom and learning what it means to live free and to bring freedom. Here's Tim sharing from 2 Kings 2:19-22 as we took a pause from our year-long series in the book of Acts to remind ourselves how imperative it is that we depend on the Giver of Life, we come to the God, the source of all life, for strength, for healing, for being made clean and so that we can share that life with the world. Here's Tim sharing from Acts 22 and how we can share God's story like Paul did. This talk is part of our year-long series in the book of Acts. If you would like to catch up on any of the other talks from the series, please either visit our podcast channel or our Acts 2023 playlist. Here's James sharing from John 21 and how Jesus won't leave us lost at sea, but he may lead us where we do not want to go. We will be returning to our series through the book of Acts next Sunday. (This talk is in place of the live recording, which had audio glitches. We apologise that the video cut's out half way through when the camera died and James did not notice. Fortunately, the audio kept going). Here's David sharing on how we encourage one another in love, with truth and by the Spirit as we took an overview of Paul's third missionary journey and continued our series in the book of Acts. On Sunday we worshipped, prayed and opened God's word together in the garden. Here's Tim sharing from Paul's second missionary journey as we continue our series in Acts throughout 2023. Here's John sharing from Acts 15 as we continue our year-long series in the book of Acts. We apologise that it is only audio and the recording cut out a bit early. We were having technical difficulties. Here's James sharing from Acts 12 and thinking about prayer and the now and not yet of God's kingdom as we continue our year long journey through Acts and discover what God is doing among us in 2023. Here's Suzi and Nicola sharing from Psalm 100 at our all age service as we took a break from our year in Acts. Here’s Tim speaking from Revelation 4 as we took a pause from our year in Acts and set aside one Sunday to simply celebrate. There were some beautiful conversations around the room as we shared what we love most about God, before Tim encouraged us with what happens when we choose to worship and say yes to the living God. He challenged us to boldly approach God’s throne, to a God who is sovereign, holy, faithful and good. How He is our safest place and our firm foundation. How the whole universe revolves around Him and how we need to reorientate our lives to do likewise. As we make Him our audience of one, our hearts, minds and lives get clear of all the other narratives and expectations that dominate. And as we welcome Christ, who stands at the door and knocks, He fills us, renew us, heals us, shapes us and changes us. |
