Henry Brown is giving an illustrated talk to the History of Bath Research Group about the marble wall monuments in the context of the church's history, and the move from burials in the church itself to the development of "garden" cemeteries on remote sites. He will be looking at the people commemorated, and their connection with Bath, and the stylistic changes to the monuments themselves. There will be a chance to examine our unique above-ground mausoleum. Church friends are very welcome, but the MBRG suggests a donation of £2 towards its non-members of the group. Doors open at 6.00pm and the talk begins at 6.30pm.
