Alpha

Through the Alpha course we extend a welcome to friends and enquirers who want to explore the big questions of life.  In the relaxed setting of the crypt café we enjoy a delicious meal, listen to a short talk and have plenty of space for discussion and questions.  Friendships are formed and God is encountered.  Our next Alpha Course will be in September 2011.

Beta

Beta is designed to give any who have been on an Alpha course a chance to take things further and explore their faith in the security of a small group setting. The group is also open to those who have not done Alpha but who would value time to learn more about living out their faith.

Café Life

More a conversation than a course . . . a chance for any who come with their questions about God and faith to engage in discussion, and together to seek life and truth.  Meeting on a Sunday teatime in the café, and with free children’s activities for the under 9s.  Café Life will return in September 2012.

The Marriage Course

A seven week course designed to help any couple strengthen their relationship.  Each evening begins with a cooked meal for the couple to enjoy together, followed by teaching delivered via DVD on such subjects as better communication, resolving conflict, the power of forgiveness, and nurturing a better sex life.  The Marriage Course will run during Spring 2012.

Pastoral Care

We aim to equip people in the skill of caring in our church family and offer courses to help develop what God has already given. So listening, care of the bereaved, and prayer ministry are just some of what we offer to deepen our care of one another.
